This project investigates how students, particularly those with social anxiety, can form connections through shared interactions with cats. Serving as natural icebreakers, the presence of cats encourages conversation and helps ease social tension. The cat-friendly hostel is thoughtfully designed to evoke the warmth of home, supporting emotional well-being, cultivating responsibility, and fostering a compassionate community bonded by a mutual love for animals. A curved spatial layout gently guides individuals into calming pause areas, inviting slower movement and spontaneous social interaction.
