Singapore faces a growing demand for affordable housing, particularly among low-income families. Meanwhile, many educational facilities have become under-utilized recently due to demographic shifts and changes in educational needs. RE-CLASSify is a proposed project which aims to repurpose and adaptively reuse under-utilized educational infrastructure, such as vacant school classrooms, into temporary housing solutions for low-income families residing in public rental flats. This initiative seeks to address the pressing need for affordable housing while maximizing existing resources and promoting community interaction.
